ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, announced that its subsidiary Linc Network, LLC has signed a franchise agreement with MH Industries, an HVAC energy solutions and service provider located in Barcelona, Spain. MH Industries is the first HVAC contractor located in Spain to join ABM’s growing international network.
As a franchise of Linc Network, LLC, MH Industries will be joining ABM Franchising Group, a portfolio of franchise networks that deliver comprehensive mechanical and electrical service and preventive maintenance solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. MH Industries will follow Linc Network, LLC’s business model in delivering HVAC service, including proactive and preventive maintenance, to their commercial and industrial clients. MH Industries is also looking to expand their market reach into the Madrid and Valencia territories.
“MH Industries experience in the commercial and industrial industry in conjunction with our proven system will allow them to further expand their presence in Spain,” said Bert Kendall, Chief Operating Officer of ABM Franchising Group. “We look forward to a long-lasting and successful partnership.”
MH Industries has over 200 employees and is a part of Grup MH, owned by the Martin Hidalgo family. Grup MH has been in business for over 30 years and is a professionalized group of companies that offer a full range of services including engineering/design solutions, installation, maintenance, and energy management. In addition to their industrial and commercial clients, they also provide service to residential and domestic clients, as well as multinational equipment manufacturers. Specifically within the Barcelona region, they are the exclusive provider for installation, commissioning, and repairs for several air conditioning, boiler, professional kitchen, water treatment, gas, and refrigeration equipment manufacturers. These relationships give them direct access to original share parts and better pricing, as well as specialized technical training for their technicians. Furthermore, the technicians have the benefit of becoming equipment subject matter experts, with the ability to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot any equipment problem that may arise within a client's location.
“Through our franchise agreement with Linc Network, LLC and becoming a part of the overarching ABM Franchising Group will allow our clients to benefit from best practices and innovative services in reducing energy and operation costs,” said Emilio Martin, Principal of Grup MH. “Furthermore, the continuing education provided by the international franchise network will increase our employees’ technical and sales capabilities.”
