ABM Franchising Group held its annual Continuing Education Conference on January 19-22, 2021. In a first-ever virtual format for the event, the conference brought together Linc Service, TEGG Service, and ABM Franchising Group employees to safely share educational content and celebrate the achievements of 2020.
More than 1,400 registered attendees came together online for the 4-day event, including 85 sessions and roundtables, two awards presentations, and multiple opportunities to network with 45 industry vendors in our Virtual Exhibit Hall.
The 2021 theme was Delivering Essential Solutions Together, highlighting the fact that Linc Service and TEGG franchises rose to the challenge of helping clients and customers keep their businesses safe and operational during 2020 with essential facility services and solutions. The keynote speech was delivered by renowned sports broadcaster Greg Gumbel, including motivational stories and a live question and answer session with attendees across the network.
In an awards presentation on the final day of 2021 Continuing Education, OtisAir, Ltd., a Linc Service franchise since 2009, was named the Linc Service Contractor of the Year. Located in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, Otis Air has won Contractor of the Year an impressive five times, an honor shared with this year's TEGG Contractor of the Year, five-time winner Humphrey and Associates.
The Contractor of the Year Award is presented annually by ABM Franchising Group to the most outstanding Linc Service contractor. Criteria for achieving the award is based on, but not limited to, implementation of the Linc Service system and overall sales activity and performance.
