On October 22nd, Mark Thompson (BSME, ’71), owner and President of H.A. Thompson & Sons, was inducted into the Alumni Academy at the University of North Dakota College of Engineering and Mines.
The distinction is the highest honor bestowed on alumni by the College of Engineering and Mines. The Alumni Academy was created in 2003 to encourage students by honoring examples of excellence among alumni and to build a body of alumni able to provide advice to the college on major issues.
Mark graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1971.
