The Continuing Education Conference returned to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta this year, bringing Contractors from across the Linc Service and TEGG networks together in-person to celebrate successes and share in educational sessions. Winning the Linc Service Contractor of the Year for the first time, Vulcan Mechanical Services was awarded for their impressive performance and growth in 2023.
Accepting on behalf of Vulcan, Principal Dan Shirey said in praise of his team: “You can’t do this business without people. I couldn’t be prouder of the team and what they’ve accomplished.” In thanking founding Principal George Fechter, who was in attendance, for his leadership and mentorship, Shirey shared one of Fechter’s guiding principles: “Take care of your employees, take care of your customers, and the business will take care of itself.”

The Linc Service Contractor of the Year Award is presented annually by ABM Franchising Group to the most outstanding Linc Service contractor. Criteria for achieving the award is based on, but not limited to, implementation of the Linc Service system and overall sales activity and performance.
The 2024 event theme, Driving Transformation Together, echoes the commitment of ABM Franchising Group and the Linc Service network to evolving the technology and practices that improve outcomes. Educational sessions before the annual awards ceremony focused on multiple topics, including safety, operations, change management, and more.
