Celebrating with their team at a summer barbecue, Trotter & Morton marked their win of the inaugural Linc Service Team Safety Award, as announced and awarded at the 2024 Continuing Education Conference.
In addition to the barbecue party, Trotter & Morton purchased new safety gear bags for their team, and new safety gear to fill them, with the safety award honorarium accompanying the recognition of their safety record.
“This year’s recipient has not only met but exceeded the rigorous standards they uphold,” said Rick Yelley, Director of Operations for ABM Franchising Group, when announcing the award. “Let us commend Trotter and Morton, and may their accomplishments inspire all of us to strive for excellence in creating a secure and thriving workplace.”
In attendance at the barbecue was Trotter & Morton Safety Director Audra Cassar Dupas, who was recognized for her safety leadership during the award ceremony earlier this year. The Operations Team Safety Award is presented annually by ABM Franchising Group to the most outstanding safety program results during the award year. The criteria include key metrics like OSHA incident rate, vehicle performance, and documented training in vital topics like safe refrigerant handling, arc flash, and fall protection.
