Linc Service contractor Hays Service successfully collected over 5,000 food items in support of a local charity initiative providing food for school children in need. As announced in their LinkedIn Post thanking everyone who contributed, Hays Service employees organized the drive in support of the BackPack Ministry project for Forest Hills United Methodist Church (FHUMC).
Calvin Hays, General Manager of Hays Service, noted the effort of the Hays Service team during the busy summer months: “I appreciate this effort more and more each year. Our community needs this help, and we need to step up!”
The project has grown to help children in 24 schools across 3 counties, supplying children with weekly packages of kid-friendly food they can take home. You can see more about the BackPack Ministry on FHUMC’s website
